Afternoon flowers and artichokes.

Chive flower, Passion flower and Artichokes. The artichokes will most certainly be eaten this evening. The flowers will live another day to bring joy to others. I really like passion flowers, so beautiful.

NYC Highline

My first time on the Highline. It is an amazing elevated park. The Neil M. Denari (NMDA) building is awesome in person! The tracks and concrete giving way to ground and plantings inspires me for future landscape design.

Morning in the Garden

I love seeing the morning light touch flowers and garden plants for the first time in the morning. Thank you sun for rising again and countering the night.

Abandoned Pool

When properties become abandoned graffiti happens. Some of it was art some was straight tags some I am sure was gang related. Who knows if Amy of these painters will take it to the next level.

Beautiful Decay

This will be an open series. I have wanted to capture the beauty in the everyday urban decay that goes unseen in our daily / busy lives.

Nitrogen fixing in the garden.

This past weekend our wildflowers began their bloom. Therefore it was time to cut them down, cover with compost and mulch. Hopefully it will break down in time to plant our tomatoes also purchased this weekend at OVF's Tomato-bration.
